Job Description
Do you love building an audience from the ground up? Do you get energy from growing a community, planning the next newsletter, and watching engagement climb week over week? If you combine content strategy, paid growth, and community building, and you want to see that audience turn into real business, this role is for you.
We’re seeking a Demand & Community Manager to grow an affiliated AI best-practices community focused on AI in commerce. You will own the content plan and editorial calendar, lead ads and growth strategy, run the newsletter, social channels, and events, and manage a Research Analyst. You will also pass McFadyen-fit leads to the Senior Demand Generation Manager. This is a remote, long-term contract engagement open to candidates based in Latin America, with availability for meetings overlapping US Eastern Time.
Top 5 Responsibilities

3. Lead ads and growth strategy - Plan, launch, and optimize paid and organic growth programs across LinkedIn, Google, and other channels, managing budget, targeting, and cost per subscriber.
4. Run the newsletter, social channels, and events - Manage the newsletter, social presence, webinars, and community events from planning through follow-up.
5. Pass qualified leads to McFadyen - Identify McFadyen-fit leads within the community and hand them to the Senior Demand Generation Manager with the context needed to convert them into pipeline.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and set priorities for the Research Analyst, and review research and content before publication.
- Track and report on visitors, subscribers, engagement, and leads passed; share regular insights and act on them.
- Apply SEO/AEO best practices so community content is found by people and AI search engines.
- Build relationships with community members, partners, and guest contributors.
- Coordinate with McFadyen marketing on shared campaigns, brand standards, and lead handoff rules.
- Use Claude and other AI tools to speed up content planning, drafting, workflow, and analysis.
